Sound•Bridge

Sound•Bridge was formed on January 1st, 1996 by President I. Christopher Cole. The company entered the pro audio market with six entry-level products, primarily targeted at the MI/Retail market.

Upon experiencing success with this initial offering,  Chris decided in August  of that year to invest further in the company. He began working diligently to develop the budding company, hiring his first staff and investing into Research and Development.  By the end of that first year, his efforts had resulted in Sound•Bridge‘s first complete product line: the Series-3000.

The 1997 Winter NAMM show marked Sound•Bridge’s first exhibition at an industry tradeshow. The recently completed Series-3000, now a full range boasting 11 products, was introduced to rave reviews. This continued success spurred Chris further yet again, and additional investment was made in staff, machinery and R&D.

Over the next few years, the company experienced steady growth. During this time, continued improvements were made to facilitate production and development. Chris purchased a CNC router and metal-working machinery and began to vertically integrate the factory.  Further expansion saw the addition of more sophisticated computer-aided design and proto-typing tools, bringing Sound•Bridge into state-of-the-art speaker manufacturing technology. The product range continued to evolve and emphasis was placed on higher-specification systems and products for more demanding and larger applications.

In 2007, based on the tremendous growth and interest in the company generated by the introduction of the XYONTM series of line array systems, Chris once again concentrated his efforts on re-inventing the company further.
